Business Development Manager (f/m/d)

Your Role

As our Business Development Manager (f/m/d) at Interxion Croatia: A Digital Realty Company you are responsible for developing and growing sales opportunities for our colocation and interconnection services in business area Romania, Serbia and Bulgaria. The role operates autonomously, closely collaborating with local Management, Sales, Marketing and Operations teams, and with (as appropriate) International, Marketing & Strategy, Finance and Legal, mobilizing DLR/Interxion resources in achieving its account acquisition and sales objectives.  

  • Develop and implement direct sales strategy and annual plans for prospective and newly acquired accounts  
  • Research and identify new business opportunities within Bulgarian, Serbian, Romanian market
  • Advanced networking skills
  • Post sales activities 
  • Advising customers, understanding their needs
  • Lead the prospective/new customer acquisition process from “lead to close”  
  • Support immediate post-sales activities as a primary customer contact 
  • Prepare and facilitate customer hand-over  
  • Ensure proper information maintenance in Salesforce.com  

Your profile

  • Educated to Bachelor/Master level 
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a solution/consultative selling area, preferable in IT Services/data center/telco/network environment 
  • Good understanding of local market conditions 
  • Broad business network and contact data base
  • Ability to self-start, self-motivate, self-sustain, self-improve and work independently   
  • Eager to win and create new business and achieve high customer engagement (true/pure “hunter” type) 
  • Experienced working with and navigating a CRM tool; Salesforce.com experience is plus
  • Driver’s license
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to travel 1-2 times (2-3 days) monthly to Zagreb, Croatia
