Service Security Coordinator

The Service Security Customer Specialist (SSCS) supports the Service Security Manager in ensuring optimal physical site security regarding the operational management. The SSCS provides daily management of our external suppliers of security staff.

In close cooperation on daily base with Service Security Technical Specialist and the Service Security Operations Specialist. All these functions are responsible for daily operations of security of the local Interxion entities/locations and Operational Security Support to HQ.

You'll (be)

  • Responsible for operational reporting towards Service Security Manager (incl DMS)
  • Responsible for on and offboarding of customers
  • Responsible to manage and retain customer specific access requirements
  • Responsible for monitoring the Security Process Performance Indicators. Act as first point of contact for all external security contractors, review and acknowledgement of alarms, reviewing external security daily reports, dealing with security related escalations
  • Responsible for managing external suppliers to the Security department (QBR, complaints etc)
  • Responsible for reviewing the external suppliers reporting (performance, workstate, indicents etc)
  • Suppport for managing the (mandatory) security (awareness) trainings and induction programme(s)
  • Support for managing the Quarterly Site Assessments
  • Responsible for operational support of Operations, HR and HQ
  • Support for delivering physical security evidence(s) in several audits. Reviewing and processing formal access right changes in database, monthly report and verification of access logs and cardholder list for selected customers, database cross checks, documenting all activities for internal and external compliance audits
  • Responsible for Security (and ServiceNOW) incident management and support Ops incident handling
  • Responsible for the execution of the security processes according to policies and standards (e.g. Joiners/leavers)

What you'll need

  • Strong analytical skills (able to identify root causes and define appropriate measures, able to set priorities in line with business needs.
  • Strong communication skills (able to train and motivate staff, manage external suppliers, negotiate contracts, act as escalation point for security related issues, cooperate with other team members)
  • No criminal records and high level of personal integrity.
  • Accurate and structured (able to provide structure and work according to a structure, process oriented)
  • Flexible working manner (able to cope with dynamic workloads, able to handle ad hoc situations in the Security area, able to switch between operational, tactical and strategic tasks)
  • Proactive (identify issues and act upon)
  • Stress-resilient (stay calm during escalations)
