Partnership & Alliance Director (f/m/d), Germany

Overview

As the Partnership & Alliance Director (Germany), you will play a critical role in Interxion a Digital Realty Company’s (IXDLR) growth, working as part of the German sales team and alongside colleagues in EMEA and the United States as part of the team running a global program of Strategic Partners and Alliances, as well as Channel Partners to support IXDLR’s global Sales and Marketing initiatives.

 

Your Role

  • Develops, agrees and delivers against a business plan for Partners and Alliances, including lead and transaction volume and value targets
  • Responsible for all sales leads entering the organization through any Channel Partner
  • Responsible for proactively driving opportunities through other channels such as carriers, IT consultants, network providers, cloud providers, etc.
  • Responsible for all referral agreements with non-broker channels in the region
  • Responsible for identifying, targeting and engaging new Strategic Partners
  • Works with the Product Team to develop a set of products derived jointly from the services provided by our network of Strategic Partners and IXDLR

 

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or comparable education
  • Over 7 years previous experience, of operating in a senior management role for a Technology Vendor or Service Provider/Partner of a vendor including extensive experience of managing customer partners at a senior level
  • Demonstrable business development experience within partnerships & alliances markets and/or channel sales, with a proven track record of success in landing sound commercial deals
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work to a consistently high standard
  • Excellent technical knowledge - direct or indirect exposure to the data center industry
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities and priorities
  • Written and verbal fluency in German and English
