Design & Construction PMO Manager

Your role

In this role as Design & Construction PMO Manager you provide procurement, budget and reporting support for all Design & Construction activities. You facilitate the workflow between Design & Construction and accounting by streamlining procurement processes. You are responsible for optimization of programme management by implementing policies and procedures for design and construction documents. You prepare and present the D&C ‘Activity Plan’, key date tracker and ‘forward look’ documentation at Project Overview Meetings (POM’s). You consolidate Project Dashboard Reports and Monthly Programme Reports for all active projects in EMEA. You support the Director Cost Management in performance managing external Quantity Surveyors and analysing QS budgets, reports and historic cost information.

You report into the Director Cost Management. You will work closely together with various disciplines across multiple countries within our organization, including executive management, design, construction, accounting, operations, sales and asset management.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of related experience required.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, as we build the combined organization
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English is a must
  • Exceptional relationship building skills, both internally & externally.
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize and work towards tight deadlines and corporate objectives
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented
  • Comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex business documents. 
  • General knowledge of supplier contracts. 
  • Ability to review and analyse quotations and estimates.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form and to work independently.
  • Proven record of managing multiple work streams. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • High level of commitment to customer service to both co-workers and clients.
