Business Development Representative (f/m/d)

Overview

The Business Development Representative (BDR) drives growth in Interxion, Digital Realty services and solutions. The BDR qualifies and prioritizes leads and prospects by articulating our value proposition, messaging, and understanding customer needs and requirements. Your Role

  •  
  • Generate new demand (e.g. individual leads and/or buying groups) for the sales organization to pursue 
  • Discover, validate and reach out to additional personas typically involved in a buying decision to determine possible buying groups for delivery to field sales 
  • Nurture predetermined groups of prospects back from field or channel sales by using multiple touch tactics (e.g. telephone, email, social) 
  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts to marketing and sales on the volume of qualified demand expected to reach the TQL stage or qualified demand stage 
  • Track and manage prospecting, qualification and nurture activities in the company’s CRM systems, primarily Salesforce.com

 

Your Profile

  • Fluent German & English, additional European languages a plus
  • 2+ years experience of working in a prospecting role (Business Development, Inside Sales, Telemarketing, etc.)
  • Candidates must have corporate sales or marketing experience; related working experience in the data center, telecommunications, IT or technology fields preferred
  • Desired applicants will have knowledge of business organizational structures, sales, sales processes, and familiarity with CRM systems, Salesforce.com preferred
  • Excellent business judgment and articulating value propositions to customers
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with sales personnel
