Your Role
The Project Manager Pre-Construction Management reports into Senior Director Pre-Construction Management and is responsible for day to day Pre-Construction activities of assigned new data centre projects. The main aim of the role is to manage new data centre projects from conception to hand over to the Construction Management team, making sure we follow global standards on process, procurement, reporting and design as much as possible so that we deliver the right product for the defined intended customer mix at the right time whilst optimising the cost of our new data centres. In this role you will be leading a cross country and cross functional team, adopting global standards in order to make use of the long track record within the global organisation and provide consistency to our global and local customers.
You will work cooperatively with our Global organization, EMEA- and country management. You will have a responsibility for the development of projects (Pre-Construction) in any of the countries of Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Greece, Croatia and, for the moment, Africa (currently Kenya, Mozambique and Nigeria) and possibly other countries as the company develops its business.
The main purpose of the role is safe, consistent, efficient, timely and high-quality execution of our construction projects. You will have budget responsibility for a project portfolio with regards to the Pre-Construction part of assigned projects.
