Overview

The Senior T&C Engineer Operations main purpose is to provide technical consulting to our local Operations and Expansion teams. You will also provide support to the HQ Operations team and the Data Center Technology & Engineering Group (DTEG) to ensure that technical service solution and construction design meet operational and technical standards and requirements defined in the service contracts.

Your Role

Attends and improves the commissioning tests for new DC or DC expansion
Ensures that the technical standards and requirements (defined by DTEG, local Operations and local regulations) are met in the technical deployment upon finalization of the building shell, participating in all testing and preproduction runs
Provides technical feedback, documentation review and build standards descriptions for the Operations and DTEG department
Prepares and participates in the handover process from construction to Operations team, ensures that all handover criteria are met, including trainings and instructions for local OPS team
Provides technical and best practice expertise to the Expansion team for the construction projects to ensure compliance with Interxion standards and requirements

Your Profile

Educated to a vocational level in a technical field; electrical / cooling master craftsman exam is an advantage
Min. 3 years practical experience in an electro technical or industrial / mechanical environment
Expert in DC Operations and Facility Management
Good knowledge in maintenance, troubleshooting and commissioning tasks
ITIL certification is of advantage
Fluent in German and technical English
