Monitoring and Infrastructure Project Engineer : 13001 Marseille

  40 avenue roger salengro, Marseille

Your role

The main role is to keep control on monitoring function on sites and related systems (Opsview, GCAP, SBO, DCE, Kepware…), ensure processes are standardized across sites, in MRS and Paris. Contributes to keep reliable data in Opsview (essential for power invoicing) and remain within contractual SLA.

The monitoring and infrastructure project engineer is involved in all BMS projects for new sites, and updates, and is working in close coordination with HQ.

To achieve the objectives, he works closely together with DTEG engineers, IT-infrastructure Architect (setting the IT-infrastructure standards), the Operations in general and Security teams.

What you’ll need

  • BMS specialist
    • Standardization across sites
    • Challenge suppliers
    • Help in RFP answers, and challenge our key customer
    • Local contact for HQ regarding all BMS topics, GCAP and Opsview
    • Help for new sites building projects and bring improvements
    • Assistance with commissioning witness of new systems

 

 

 

  • Site support
    • Oversees and checks standardization across sites regarding monitoring and systems
    • Provides the necessary trainings to Operations teams
    • Provides support to operational teams when needed
    • Drives, manages and monitor vendors to deliver and maintain the BMS solutions

 

 

 

  • Power monitoring
    • Have a better control on power metering and customer invoicing (power management)
    • Keep reliable data in Opsview and check KPIs
    • Keep standardization (naming and structure), locally across sites but also across countries in connexion with HQ
    • Keeps in house control of firmware / security upgrades on significant assets UPS, Generators, HV – LV Circuit breakers…

 

 

 

  •  SLA monitoring (temperature and humidity)
    • Have reliable data base and KPIs (Opsview)
    • Solve and reduce reporting issues
    • In house support for maintenance / installation of new wireless sensor deployments in cold aisles
    • Have the ability to run / create environmental reports on customer areas upon request
