Quality & Engineering Manager

Overview

Your role

The Engineering and Support Manager is the technical expert withing the datacenters, you have knowledge on all the technical installations and are able to provide support to the whole operational staff. Because of your high technical knowledge, you are able to resolve engineering request and turn them into feasible proposals ready for execution. Besides that, you act as a coordinator, supervising the daily activities of a small team of operations support and professionals. You have specialized technical expertise and are recognized as an expert within the organization.

What you’ll need

  • Educated to a degree (bachelor-level) in a technical field
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a technician
  • Datacenter knowledge (Gensets, UPS systems, Cooling systems, Access systems, Fire protection, Waste management)
  • ISO systems knowledge
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (both written and verbal)
  • Committed, internally driven and willing to go the extra mile
  • Open for change, eager to take on new responsibilities, handle pressure, adjust plans to meet changing needs
  • Pro-active, can-do mentality with a hands-on approach
  • Ability to support 24x7 on demand
