The Role


The Senior Operations System Administrator role supports the Global Operations Systems team in maintaining ServiceNow and Salesforce platforms.  The ongoing support required consists of basic end-user support, account management, maintenance planning configuration, other routine database maintenance as well as managing third party staff augmentation.


The Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite of applications.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce and/or ServiceNow preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a CMMS or IWMS preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science preferred.
  • Prior experience in managing 3rd party staffing augmentation
  • Prior experience in supporting cross-platform integrations (API and iPaaS)


The Role:

This role focuses on completing collaborative efforts between various departments within the business. Reporting to the Manager of Operations Systems, this role will gain exposure to business processes and procedures by supporting in the following capacity:

  • End-User Support – Support the successful completion of end-user support requests within expected SLA timeframes. This can include diagnosing and resolving:
    • Work order errors
    • Asset inaccuracies
    • CMDB inaccuracies
    • User account issues
  • Account Management – Support the creation and termination of end-user accounts within expected SLA timeframes.
  • Maintenance Planning Configuration – Support the Data Center Operations team in configuring both global and location specific maintenance plans.
  • Other Routine Database Maintenance – This can be a variety of activities and typically involves working with departments across geographies to ensure data within a specific application is audited/corrected.
  • Developer guidance for corrective or enhancement measures within Applications through the use of descriptive stories and acceptance criteria to outline the issue resolution.
  • Guidance on defining and execution of User Acceptance Testing on new functions, features and cross product integrations.
  • Support and manage troubleshooting and problem resolution across system integrations often spanning multiple vendors.
  • Manage third party staff augmentation and workload delegation.
