Your role

The Security Coordinator (SC) is a vital member of our team, supporting the implementation and enforcement of global security processes as defined by Digital Realty. This role ensures the effective operation and compliance of physical security elements within programs such as PCI-DSS, SOC, ISO27001, and relevant local initiatives. Working closely with the Security Manager, the SC oversees day-to-day operational activities and ensures security systems function seamlessly while providing support to external service providers.

  • Assist the Security Manager in applying and coordinating security requirements across local Data Centers (DCs).
  • Conduct and support security audits, inspections, and on-demand assessments.
  • Manage first-point escalations, including visitor ticket issues and customer inquiries related to security alerts.
  • Support emergency drills, security tests, and ensure security standards are upheld during site visits.
  • Manage access rights for external visitors and provide STAT generation on AMAG security reports as required.
  • Deliver security training to internal staff and external service providers.
  • Prepare regular reports for Operations departments and customers.
  • Advise the Security and Quality Management department on process improvements or modifications.

What you’ll need

  • Higher education with professional qualifications in Risk Management, Security Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2.5 years of experience in a Security department.
  • Intermediate experience with security systems, processes, and mechanical/electrical access control systems.
  • Proven expertise in managing security tests, emergency drills, and security training programs.
  • Familiarity with Data Center operations and security processes.
  • Ability to identify security or Business Continuity Management (BCM) risks and propose solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge in security management.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
