Your role
As a Senior Financial Analyst at our innovative data center company, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and performance.
Working closely with the Finance Director and cross-functional teams, you will provide advanced analytical support and strategic insights that drive our business decisions in a rapidly evolving industry.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead the preparation, timely submission and presentation of comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, ensuring they meet the high standards expected in the data center industry.
- Conduct complex financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, investment opportunities, and operational efficiencies, transforming data into actionable insights for senior management. Analyze & comment the monthly business performance variances of Actuals vs Budget and Forecasts.
- Oversee the preparation and review of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and 5 Year Plans, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and operational goals.
- Provide leadership in local management reporting and perform ad hoc analyses to support decision-making across various business units.
- Play a key role in the implementation and optimization of new finance systems and processes, driving continuous improvement in financial operations.
- Enhance data governance processes, ensuring data quality and compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, and sales & marketing, to identify financial impacts and develop strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.
Essential Knowledge
- Expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis, with a strong understanding of operational finance principles.
- Significant experience as a financial analyst, with a focus on FP&A.
- Advanced Excel skills, with a proven ability to manage and analyze large and complex data sets effectively.
- Exceptional ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exhibiting attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; master’s degree or professional certification (DipIFR etc.) will be considered a plus.
- Fluency in Greek and English is required; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
