Your role 

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join our global team in overseeing large-scale IT projects, with a special focus on post-acquisition integrations. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of proven experience in managing complex IT projects, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams across different time zones. You will play a pivotal role in integrating newly acquired companies' IT systems and processes, ensuring seamless transitions, and driving successful project delivery.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and Manage Large IT Projects: Plan, execute, and deliver large-scale IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Post-Acquisition Integration: Oversee the IT integration process during and after acquisitions, ensuring smooth transitions of systems, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, Cyber Security, Compliance, Legal, HR, Finance, Operations, Product, Sales and Marketing and external vendors to manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary to ensure minimal impact on project timelines.
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets, forecast financial needs, and ensure all IT initiatives stay within financial targets.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure that all IT integration projects adhere to global security, compliance, and privacy standards, especially in highly regulated environments (GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication between business units and technical teams to align IT integration goals with business objectives.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors, ensuring contracts and deliverables are met, and manage relationships to ensure high-quality support for project needs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report project progress using standardized project management tools and methodologies.
  • Training and Change Management: Lead change management efforts, ensuring that all users impacted by system changes receive adequate communication, training and support.

What you’ll need 

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on large-scale global projects and post-acquisition integrations, preferably in the Data Center or IT infrastructure sectors.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL certifications preferred. Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, data centers, cybersecurity, and application management. Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and enterprise systems is a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams, foster collaboration, and inspire project ownership.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate challenges in fast-paced environments.
  • Travel: Ability to travel internationally as needed to oversee global project initiatives.
