Your role
You will be responsible for supporting the EMEA commercial function and supporting various stakeholders to achieve strategic initiatives and business objectives:
What you’ll do
Commercial Governance (40%)
Takes the lead to manages the development and implementation of EMEA Commercial Governance Processes, coordinating inputs from key stakeholders and aligned to Global Policies
Manages the EMEA Commercial Matrix to reflect changing business authorities, enabled within SFDC as part of commercial governance process
Supports EMEA Commercial Approvals at HQ level, working with other PMG stakeholders to ensure appropriate approval by key stakeholders as appropriate
Define, develop and report KPIs to measure the efficiency of the EMEA Commercial Governance process and manage actions to improve
Commercial Analysis and Insights (40%)
As directed by Director, Commercial Strategy
Working with Market Strategy and Sales Operations, develop and maintain analysis to provide analysis and insights to PMG, Segment and Business Strategy and Sales perspectives:
Continuously validate and improve the completeness, timeliness and accuracy of Commercial data sources
Pricing Strategy and Process (10%)
Maintain a single, consistent, efficient EMEA Pricing tool
Working closely with EMEA PMG. manage the implementation of Price Books within the EMEA Lead to Contract process enabled by SFDC.
Support implementation and ongoing management of other Product pricing across EMEA (e.g. Energy, Cross Connect, Hands & Eyes etc.)
Other(10%)
Works as a peer to 2nd Senior Manager, Commercial PMG to share workload as appropriate
Other ad hoc tasks as defined.
What you'll need
Essential Knowledge
Advanced Excel knowledge incl. ability to develop and understand pricing/financial models
Experience in working in cross-functional teams
Experience in developing and maintaining reporting templates
Prior User of Salesforce.com Apttus (preferred)
Finance Qualified – ACA, CIMA (advantage)
Competencies
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Excellent analytical skills
Problem-solving – brings a problem-solving mindset to any challenging situation
Commercial acumen and financially literate
Strong, organisational and logistical skills
Comfortable at C Level
Self-Starter
Qualifications
Educated to degree level
Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Commercial role
Advanced level user of MS Office applications, in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Fluent in Business-level English (written and orally) - other European languages an advantage
