As the Senior Manager, Executive Compensation and Equity, you’ll be a crucial member of a high-performing team at Digital Realty, a dynamic, publicly-traded, global company. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Compensation and based in Dallas, Texas, this hybrid role offers visibility, growth, and the opportunity to manage executive compensation plans that drive business success.

What you’ll do:

  • Equity Plan Management: Lead all aspects of equity plan administration, including grant issuance, vesting schedules, settlements, tax compliance, dividends, and reporting.
  • ESPP Management: Oversee all aspects of the non-qualified Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), including semi-annual purchases, election windows and changes, withdrawals, and tax reporting.
  • Board & Committee Support: Prepare comprehensive analyses and draft presentation materials for the Talent & Compensation Committee and other senior stakeholders.
  • Proxy Statement & Public Disclosures: Prepare executive compensation sections of the company’s Proxy statement and other SEC filings. Ensure all required disclosures are accurate, transparent, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Executive Compensation Benchmarking: Conduct in-depth analyses and benchmarking on executive compensation programs. Monitor evolving regulatory and market trends and their impact on executive compensation practices. Contribute to decisions involving program design, implementation, and delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with HR, finance, legal, external consultants, and third-party vendors (e.g., Fidelity) to ensure the seamless administration and integration of executive compensation programs with broader compensation and financial reporting.
  • Communication & Education: Ensure clear and effective communication with participants regarding their equity compensation. Respond promptly to inquiries from team members at all levels.

What you’ll need:

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience, with 3+ years of direct experience managing complex equity plans and governance in a global, publicly-traded company. CEP (Certified Equity Professional) certification is a plus. Prior experience with Fidelity is also a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, financial modeling, and presentation skills.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations related to executive compensation, including Proxy reporting, Form filings, 10b5-1 plans, and Section 16 compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Ability to work independently and balance competing priorities. High initiative and a results-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing programs and change initiatives.
  • Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring visa transfer or sponsorship.
