Technical Operations Engineer

Your role

The Technical Operations Engineer core responsibility is to perform infrastructure related activities in our Data Centres to ensure a reliable and efficient operation of the technical infrastructure. This is achieved through maintenance, testing and surveillance of all assets installed. You are responsible for trouble shooting, assembly and day to day scheduling of maintenance tasks.

• Ensure the stability and reliability of critical assets supporting customer equipment (availability). 
• Maintain operational efficiency and support agreed customer SLAs. 
• Coordinate maintenance tasks to mitigate unplanned maintenance and failures. 
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized data center environment.
• Drive adherence to company safety policies, operational efficiency, and core values.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
• Manage maintenance and repair operations, including coordination with subcontractors.
• Perform on-call duties and manage incidents as necessary.
• Document progress, issues, and results, and implement improvement measures.
• Provide supervision to Site Engineers I, including task assignment, performance evaluation, and professional development guidance.

What you’ll need

• Education to a vocational level in a technical field and/or site engineering position
• Skilled in maintenance of electrotechnical and/or mechanical systems
• Preferably skilled in the maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems
• Novice in maintenance of conveyor technique (elevators), and/or technical security systems (CCTV, Access Control)
• HVAC Mechanical and/or Electrical
