Position Title: Receptionist (0.8 FTE)

Your role

Join our dynamic team at Digital Realty as a Receptionist, where you will be the welcoming face of our office. You'll greet visitors, manage phone calls, and maintain a professional atmosphere, ensuring every guest feels valued. Welcome visitors (10%)

  • Welcome visitors, registers their presence and departure and directs them to the employees or their assistants.
  • Arrange parking spaces for visitors and gives them a card to exit the paid parking free of charge.
  • Books internal meeting rooms and keeps the calendar

Manage incoming telephone calls (20%)

  • Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls to to the appropriate people/ departments.
  • Uses a polite telephone manner with internal and external contacts.
  • Ensures call response time is kept to a minimum
  • Liaises with colleagues to ensure the telephone is always manned

Maintain professional appearance of office and cafeteria (5%)

  • Ensure the office, canteen and meeting rooms are kept tidy and presentable so clients are to be welcomed into a presentable and professional office environment
  • Work according to the handbook reception.

Travel arrangements (5%)

  • Order taxis for leaving visitors and employees upon request
  • Book hotels rooms for colleagues.

Maintain office supplies (10%)

  • Regularly assesses stationary supply and places orders when necessary, ensuring availability to internal customers
  • Arranges flowers/fruit baskets/ other presents upon request

Facility management (40%)

  • Order canteen/pantry/cleaning and office supplies
  • Arranging catering for meetings or festivities
  • Primary point in case of facility queries (repairs, supplies, new orders…)
  • Is the contact for the caretaker.
  •  Takes care of the contact with suppliers: Catering, security (including access registration system for visitors), cleaning and maintenance of the building.
  • Works closely together with the senior receptionist and your Manager.

What you’ll need

  • Secondary education (VMBO / MBO)
  • Preferable experience in the hospitality industry,
  • Experience working in a international company
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both in writing and orally
