Implementation Manager

Position Title: Implementation Manager
Location: Amsterdam

Your role

The Implementation Manager will will have a high impact on Customer Satisfaction and you will Manage and oversee effective execution of all assigned customer implementation projects, in accordance with contractual agreements and implementation timelines.

You will be responsible for:

  • End-to-end project planning, consisting of work orders with resource allocation, quality specs and timeline.
  • Creation of projects Purchase Orders using preferred suppliers and managing the budget.
  • Allocates work orders to Remote Hands technicians, sub-contractors, and Security, oversees their effective delivery, and ensures they meet customer and business requirements.
  • Ensures that project plans, work orders and associated documentation and systems are reviewed, tested, updated and completed, and that audits and quality checks are completed in accordance with DLR policies.
  • Acts as interface for customers during the project delivery; coordinate communication with CSMs as required to align with service wrap scope.
  • Coordinate delivery of multiple installations and keeps a complete record of the process and results.
  • Manage RFP process for tendering of large customer installations, includes bid levelling and bid award.
  • Reporting overall project lessons learnt to Implementation Services Lead on what went well, what didn’t go as expected, opportunities to improve.
  • Support and log a Vendor Selection and Management program on selected contractors and suppliers for customer implementation.
  • Works with Procurement/Supply Chain to coordinate delivery of goods not supplied by the installing vendor.

  • Manages a range of internal projects such as capacity upgrades and colo expansions.
  • Efficient project execution and communication with Global Project Delivery team in support of Red Carpet customers.
  • End-to-end order intake and provisioning processes related to all aspects of connectivity

What you’ll need

  • College Degree preferably technical (i.e.: Engineering, Tele Com. Computer Science etc.)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, data center construction and/or in the telecommunications/engineering industry
  • Advanced level knowledge in reading/interpreting construction plans, one-line drawings, and construction specifications
  • Advanced level proficiency in the use of MS Productivity tools, including Word, Access, Excel, Visio
  • Expert level proficiency with project management software MS Project
  • Working knowledge of Cost Accounting
  • Able to make effective presentations and respond to questions from groups of clients, customers and the general public
  • detail oriented with excellent communications, interpersonal and oral/written presentation skills,
  • self-starter, proactive, flexible, and able to work within and meet deadlines
