Your role

Join our dynamic Global Portfolio Management team, where you will play a crucial role in shaping our asset management and commercial management strategies. As part of this highly visible team, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive global policy enhancements, communicate effectively with key stakeholders, optimize reporting metrics, and provide strategic analysis to senior leadership. This fast-paced role requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, multitasking abilities, and adaptability to evolving priorities. You’ll report to the VP of Global Portfolio Management. 

What you’ll do

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic professional with a background in communications. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Policy and Process Development: Build databases to streamline revenue generation processes and contractual obligations. Contribute to the creation of robust policies that ensure consistency and efficiency across all transactions. 
  • Communications: Strong written and oral communication skills with experience in developing and documenting policies and processes in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong collaborative relationships with various teams, including operations, finance, legal, and sales. Work closely with key internal stakeholders to proactively manage underwriting processes, ensuring compliance and optimal results.
  • Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses to assess the performance and profitability of our portfolio. Present findings to senior management through clear and effective written and oral communication.
  • Market Research and Risk Assessment: Analyze market data, property financial statements, and other relevant information to evaluate transaction risks and profitability. Provide recommendations based on insightful data interpretation.
  • Enhance Global Reporting: Maintain and manage global reporting of key commercial metrics, including capital deployment, concession quantification and new signings in existing properties.
  • Global Reporting Projects: Spearhead value-add projects alongside the VP of Global PMG to establish efficient and repeatable global reporting processes and procedures.

What you’ll need

This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to work with peers across different time zones, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders in different countries and regions.  Additionally, to be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 years of corporate experience, with strong experience in written business communications, from emails to written global policies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to gather data from multiple parties to interpret key points to draft policies and process documentation.
  • Ability to effectively respond, verbally or in writing, to sensitive issues and complex inquiries.
  • A general understanding of commercial real estate and/or real estate finance, preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple activities and priorities effectively.
  • Attention to detail and flexibility to shift priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Ability to manage projects to stay on track with deliverables in a high-pressure setting.
  • Drive to work in a fast-paced environment, operate with a strong sense of urgency, and turn in quality work quickly, under strict time constraints.
  • Team player mentality, strong learning acumen, and resourcefulness in situations with limited guidance.
