Your role

Purpose of this role is to create and deliver optimized experiences to our audiences via owned, earned and paid marketing platforms, applications and channels. The role will translate Regional Marketing for UK objectives into outbound marketing initiatives that drive constant pipeline and profitable growth for the UK market.   

What you’ll do

Digital Marketing Strategy 

  • Own, manage, and continuously develop the UK digital marketing strategy in order to successfully deliver key commercial objectives, constant pipeline and market business growth. 
  • Management and optimization of UK digital channels inclusive of SEM, SEO, email, web, display/retargeting advertising, and demand-gen and nurture campaigns 
  • Increase awareness of the brand – generating demand from both within the UK as well as from across the EMEA region and other global regions in which Digital Realty operates. 
  • Assess the stack of globally used tools and marketing approaches and implement them in the UK where appropriate. Proactively bring new ideas to elevate the UK strategy. 

 Digital Marketing Execution and Continued Analysis 

  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure the digital implementation of global and local campaigns, for both new logo pipeline generation and customer retention. 
  • On-going implementation, analysis and optimization for the full range of digital channels, e.g. Display, PPC, SEO, SEM, Digital Content, Email 
  • Briefing and managing various digital marketing agencies to deliver successful campaigns across owned, earned and paid digital channels. 
  • Responsible for UK website experience, including management and delivery of online user journey and landing pages. 
  • Manage regular reporting of digital marketing activities focusing on core KPI’s, goals, results and recommended next steps. 

 Budget Management 

  • Manage UK digital media budget and Google spend to ensure value for money with suppliers and ROI on campaign spend. 

What you’ll need

  • Excellent understanding of B2B Enterprise, Cloud and Connectivity Provider markets and channels. 
  • Good understanding of the Data Centre market. 
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing strategy and execution. 
  • Strong understanding of paid, earned and owned media and the role that each plays in the marketing mix for B2B audiences. 
  • Good knowledge of marketing automation, CRM and sales management platforms. 
  • Excellent understanding of Google, LinkedIn, Facebook and Youtube marketing tools. 
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to optimise budgets. 
  • Strong networking, influencing and relationship management skills with the ability to clearly communicate and influence at all levels

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent desirable 
  • Vocational or professional qualifications in Marketing disciplines (e.g. CIM) desirable 
  • Previous experience in international organisations 
  • Fluent in English, both written and orally. Other European languages an advantage. 
  • 5+ years digital marketing experience
