Your role 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst will play a key role in developing and maintaining dashboards using Power BI, pulling data from various financial & operational systems to provide valuable insights to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial systems and software such as Yardi, ServiceNow, Salesforce (SFDC), Excel, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC),Oracle Analytics, Financial Force or similar platforms.

What you’ll do 

  • Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI to visualize and analyse financial & business metric data from multiple systems.
  • Lead meetings with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements to design and improve existing reporting dashboards.
  • Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting purposes.
  • Provide the data in a format to help identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI and other reporting tools.
  • Continue to maintain and update the dashboards to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as needed by various stakeholders within the business.
  • Stay updated on latest trends and best practices using Power BI and other tools for data analysis and visualization.
  • Help support the optimization of processes and workflows to improve efficiency. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and drive operational excellence.
  • Prepare and deliver recurring status reports to leadership and stakeholders.

What you’ll need

  • College degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Computer/Data Science or some related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or equivalent role focused on reporting, process improvements, business optimization and standardization with tangible results.
  • Expert knowledge of Power BI and Excel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Visio.
  • Working knowledge of some of the following platforms/applications: Salesforce (SFDC), Service Now, Oracle, and Yardi.
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Very strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong requirements definition and documentation skills.
  • Strong business and process modelling skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills, strong multi-tasking abilities.
  • Experience of working with globally dispersed teams.
  • Experience in managing change and revision controls.
  • Able to make effective presentations. 
  • Ability to interpret variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form and to work independently.
  • Capable of creating positive business relationships at all levels and with well-developed communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, proactive, flexible, and able to work within and meet deadlines.
  • Skilled in achieving results in unstructured environments.
  • Self-starter, driven, personable and positive.

Desired Job Skills/Knowledge:

  • Some data center experience or knowledge would be preferred.
  • An enterprise consulting background would be helpful.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, proficient in Visio process/workflow development, PowerPoint and Word. 

Note:

  • Hours: 40 weekly, with flexible working hours between 7 to 5 given expectation to accommodate meetings, working sessions, conference calls, etc., with team members across international time zones
