Position Title: Training and Development Manager DACH (f/m/d)

Your role

By joining us on the Training & Development Manager (DACH) position, you will be responsible to define the skills and core competencies required within the DACH organization, and use this knowledge to create and manage programs, processes, and policies in alignment with the global guidelines.

You will achieve your goals by delivering the capabilities required by the business (now and in the future), assuring a sustainable talent pipeline and supporting create a holistic talent experience, all aligned with company values and ways of working. You will ensure that Performance and Talent Management cycles are correctly processed and supports the HR Business Partners in the execution. 

Area of responsibility will include: Training and Development, Leadership development, Talent Review and Succession Planning, Performance Management, also other special assignments / international project related work, aligned with the goal of enabling growth and transformation of the company.

 

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology or related field 
  • Apprentice trainer certificate
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant HR experience, working in an international environment
  • Well familiar with training and development market in the DACH region, confident and able to provide proven solutions for different business needs 
  • Proven experience as Apprentice trainer and good knowledge of the training institutions (IHK, schools, vocational schools...) ideally in the DACH region
  • Training facilitation and coaching skills
  • Knowledge in ‘new learning media’ and Social Media
  • Experienced with diagnostic instruments and procedures (assessment / personality tests like OPQ, DISC) and in the application of competency models
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and HR systems 
  • High degree of responsibility and diligence in dealing with confidential data
  • Occasional travel - travel may be required for training and/or work-related issues
  • Fluent in German
  • English (on B2-C1-level) – being able to deliver trainings in English
