Your role 

We are looking for a skilled and driven marketeer to join our fantastic team at Digital Realty APAC, the world’s leading data center platform. In this role, you will be a vital member of the APAC Marketing team and be involved in designing, implementing and executing marketing programmes (with specific emphasis on digital campaigns) to increase awareness of the company, generate qualified leads and accelerate the progression of opportunities in the sales pipeline. You will bring solid skills in digital marketing and a good knowledge of various associated tech platforms. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to support different aspects of regional marketing (events, marketing operations, budget planning/ tracking etc) and expand your marketing expertise.

You will work effectively with various stakeholders both within marketing as well as sales, product, segments strategy etc to gain a deep understanding of our customer needs and Digital Realty’s offerings in order to deliver digital campaigns that resonate with the target audience. You will be open to new challenges in a fast-growing business and ready to take on things outside your comfort zone to broaden your skills and experience.


What you’ll do

  • Digital Marketing ~70% focus, Other projects: ~30% focus
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategy to increase brand visibility, drive website traffic, and generate qualified leads. 
  • Own the regional search engine marketing strategy & execution (refining keywords, optimizing copy/ landing pages, etc) 
  • Work across various digital channels – social media, website, SEO/ SEM, display, email, content – both organic and paid and help to create an integrated strategy.
  • Manage the tech platforms that Digital Realty uses to optimise spends and performance.
  • Manage existing agencies and onboard new ones as needed to amplify routes to market. 
  • Liaise with global digital marketing counterparts to synchronize efforts and optimize omni-channel strategy & execution (including budget allocations).
  • Provide marketing automation and CRM support to regional team – ex: setting up campaigns in Marketo, building nurture streams, tracking & reporting on campaign performance to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing, sharing knowledge and implementing innovative ideas.
  • Stay informed about regulatory requirements, data privacy, and compliance guidelines related to digital marketing activities.
  • Assume other special projects/assignments from the VP APAC Marketing


What you’ll need

  • Expertise and experience in B2B digital marketing, in particular SEO/ SEM
  • Ability to deliver campaigns that complement the complete marketing mix
  • Relevant certifications will be an advantage (SEO/SEM, social media, etc)
  • Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics and Ads, marketing automation software (e.g., Marketo), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and social media management tools, Strong technology skills, (e.g. MS Office and Adobe Suite)
  • Experience with local platforms such as Naver, Baidu, Kakao, Line, WeChat will be an advantage
  • Experience working in global B2B technology firms an advantage
  • Good English skills (spoken, written)
  • Understanding of GDPR requirements and privacy regulations for marketing activities in APAC context
  • Connections with digital marketing agencies to run APAC-wide and in-country campaigns an advantage
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with multiple stakeholder groups
  • Think creatively to develop and execute marketing campaigns, focusing on digital channels
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and drive
  • Excel at cross-group collaboration, creative thinking, problem solving and have a bias for action

  • Educated to degree level in either Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent
  • 7-10 years’ experience in a B2B marketing environment, in the technology sector
  • Experience working with global tech companies an advantage
  • Experience in regional vs single country roles an advantage 
  • A track record of delivering successful strategic, global and regional marketing programmes with a measurable outcome
  • Experience in agency management
  • Ability to work independently, in a matrix structure and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; ability to multitask and effectively manage time
