Your role

The HR Business Partner is the business functional leader charged with developing, organizing and executing all HR strategies for the Swiss organization. This includes responsibility for the entire employment process, recruitment, employee and labor relations, organizational development, employee compensation, safety, compliance, and employee retention and development. In partnership with the Management Team, he/she drives the HR function by owning the fulfilment of high-performing teams in alignment with company values and leadership principles and the engagement of the workforce.

What you’ll need

  • Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, or related field or “Fachfrau/-mann mit eidgenössischem Fachausweis 
  • Minimum of 5 years comparable experience as HR Generalist or HRBP, preferably in a global company
  • Hands-on and strategic mindset
  • Assertive personality with a high level of sensitivity for the business
  • Confident appearance and high service orientation
  • High social competence, resilience, and flexibility
  • Cultural sensitivity
  • Ability to train management and employees in new HR policies, programs & tools
  • Very good knowledge of English (at least level B2)
  • Profound knowledge of Swiss employment/tax law 

What you’ll do 

  • Advises and assists managers in appropriate resolutions of employee related issues and employees in all personnel matters.
  • Implements new HQ-HR guidelines, policies and programs adjusted to local circumstances. Collaborates closely with the centers of excellence in HQ. Informs and trains management as well as employees in new HR policies, programs, and tools. Describes, updates, and maintains the relevant HR instruments. 
    • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements (federal, state and local laws) related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinates the HR Admin Tasks
    • Performs core HR activities, ensures the correct execution of HR administrative activities, and the preparation of HR-KPI’s.
    • Ensures the preparation and processing of payroll data for the external payroll administrator, ensures check of correctness of output on salary slips and entry of all changes in the HR system. 
    • Ensures the maintaining of the time-recording-system and keeps track of employee overtime, absence, and long-term employee sickness. Ensures the correctness of implemented shift-patterns.
  • Ensures on-time recruitment supported by the Talent Acquisition DACH Team. 
  • Prepares the annual training plan, contacts training suppliers, ensures the organization of trainings for employees and follows up on budget. Ensures the coordination of the planning of social events and health & safety related trainings or inspections.
  • Coordinates Performance Management activities throughout the Performance Management cycle.
  • Annually reviews the people side of the business with the MD, is actively involved in the budgeting and business planning round.
  • Member of the local Management team
