ICT Support Engineer

Your role

Given the size and complexity of the local country organisation, local ICT performs 1st line ICT support, while the backend systems are provided by Headquarters. The ICT Support engineer provides the 1st line hands-on and remote support for all local departments and staff. Additionally, the ICT Support engineer performs hands-on installation and replacement activities of data centre monitoring equipment.

What you’ll need

• Providing ICT support and perform helpdesk activities for the Netherlands organisation across the campus 
• Providing assistance and support to all employees on software applications 
• Providing newcomers with appropriate equipment and software
• Answering questions regarding system procedures, systems status and ICT-related disturbances
• Carries out, organizes and manages the migration to new ICT solutions o Keeps inventory of all hard-and software used within the company
• Ensuring all contracts and software licenses are kept up to date
• Updating troubleshooting tracking log, support tools database and recovery and backup procedures
• Providing hands-on support for data centre monitoring hardware
• Installation of temperature sensors in data centre’s cold aisles
• Assisting with installation, configuration & testing of power monitoring devices
• Troubleshooting and replacement of monitoring data collection devices
