Your role

The Snr. Security System Manager, EMEA reports to the Security Director EMEA and coordinates, trains and supports a team of technicians that perform all activities to ensure availability and performance of the  security systems that control  physical components of our Security infrastructure. An important part of the role is a continuous focus on improvement and implementation of EMEA/global initiated security projects. The role is vital in developing the team and team members. Furthermore, the Snr. Security System Manager, EMEA supports and contributes the local and global security strategy..

What you'll do

Operational duties:

  • Responsible for ensuring workflows are executed in line with organizational standards.
  • Plans and develops improvement processes for the security engineering team.
  • Works with country level teams to plan preventive maintenance. Execute and follow up all preventive an corrective maintenance in lign with organisational policy.
  • Where necessary, assist with external and external audits.
  • Responsible for ensuring 24x7 availability of engineers to manage potential incidents impacting the availability of security infrastructure.
  • Management of both local and global security projects.
  • Supports and contributes to the local and global security strategy in regards of customer focus, efficiency and innovation.
  • Understanda and adhers to organsiational health and safety policies, regulations and compliance.
  • Improves access infrastructure to reduce cost per device/cost per access (YoY).
  • Minimizes registration and administration times for customers/employees whilst maintaining security levels.
  • Maintains an active risk register in relation to the Security infrastructure components.

People related duties:

  • Professional and disciplinary leadership for the dedicated security engineers.
  • Responsibility for the technical qualification (trainings, certifications) of the dedicated security engineering team.

What you’ll need

Expertise:

  • Expert in technical security systems and operations (ACS, CCTV, VMS, IDS)
  • Skilled in managing a team of technical experts 
  • Skilled in maintenance processes and workflows 
  • Skilled with Microsoft office applications (e.g. Excel)
  • Skilled in project management

Soft Skills:

  • Self-management, ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Resilient and able to prioritize workload.

  • Ability to evaluate risk and solve complex problems.

Language skills:

  • English with French and German being advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Completed professional qualification (Degree level or comparable e.g. ASIS Physical Security Professional), coming from Security Technology Management domain, or similar comparable field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a security management environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing a security systems department.
