Senior Technical Operations Engineer

Your role

The Senior Technical Operations Engineer (STOE) oversees all aspects of the site’s critical physical infrastructure and ensures that all activities carried out in the site are done with high quality and without negative impact on internal/external customers. The STOE actively guides the engineers and suppliers on site, helps & supports where needed and checks the quality of work. The STOE actively contributes to a standard way of operating the sites by complying with the standard and using a controlled change process to continuously improve the standard. The STOE is involved in improvement projects and serves as a second level support for more complex issues. The STOE works with various experts, including DTEG and manufacturers and is directly responsible for technical/electrical safety on the site.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor or vocational level (MBO level 4) qualification; graduated in electrical or mechanical engineering
  preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a mission critical mechanical & electrical environment within a large company,
  IT/Telecoms industry preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of the NEN 1010 norms and NEN 3140 and 3840 certification required.
• Advanced understanding of industry standard data center software systems, such as BMS, CMMS, DCIM, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical engineering and can read and work with electrical and
  mechanical diagrams.
• Having a valid driver’s license (category B) is required.
• Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
