The Service Planning lead is responsible for the lead of Service Planning Engineers. He/She is accountable for the allocation of engineering resources to customer service requests and maintenances in accordance with SLA's and agreed operational standards and requirements. The Service Planning Team prepares the annual maintenance calendar in close collaboration with the Facility Teams to avoid clashes and in strict alignment with customers and OEM requirements. Furthermore, the team participates in change, asset, supplier, and incident management.
As Service Planning lead you are also accountable for the preparation/coordinating of all building- and data-center maintenance (preventive- and corrective) and all related repairs in order to minimize ‘downtime’. The Service Planning lead is responsible for the optimal functioning of the maintenance process (preventive and corrective maintenance). Together with the Service Planning engineers, he/she also acts as a bridge between the operations and maintenance contractors/suppliers. The Service Planning department is single point of contact for maintenance contractors/suppliers.
