Your role 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic ServiceNow Development Team Leader to lead our agile development team consisting of skilled developers and a dedicated Scrum Master. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of high-quality ServiceNow solutions, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the team's adherence to agile methodologies. Your leadership and technical expertise will be instrumental in achieving project objectives and maintaining a culture of innovation and excellence.

What you’ll do 


  • Leadership: Provide clear direction, guidance, and mentorship to the ServiceNow development team, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, priorities, and timelines. Plan, allocate resources, and manage the team's workload to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
  • Agile Practices: Serve as a servant leader and agile advocate, guiding the team in adhering to Scrum principles and practices. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of ServiceNow development, architecture, and best practices. Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring the successful implementation of solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of code and configurations produced by the team. Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration within the team and across departments, ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives. Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and other teams to gather requirements and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation within the development lifecycle. Implement best practices and encourage a culture of continuous learning and growth.

What you’ll need


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience (+ 5 Yrs.) in leading and managing development teams, preferably in an agile environment.
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow development and customization, including Scripting, UI/UX, Integrations, and Workflows.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification / equivalent agile certification, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions on time.
