Director, Oracle Cloud EPM Solution Architect

Your role

We are searching for a talented and experienced Director Oracle Cloud EPM Solution Architect to join the Digital Realty global team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership to all aspects of our EPM solutions which include global planning, tax provisioning, financial reporting, and development life cycle reporting. This role will offer an opportunity to drive significant improvement to the Digital Realty planning process and business analytics delivery.

What you’ll do 

You will collaborate with business partners around the world and be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, training, and administering various EPM solutions required for planning and reporting by:

• Collaborating with Finance leaders to understand their EPM requirements.
• Translating these business requirements into technical solution designs.
• Designing and delivering functional architecture strategy that aligns with leading best practices.
• Applying your business expertise in budgeting & planning, and functional knowledge in the administration of all Oracle EPM solutions.
• Providing recommendations to enhance and accelerate the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Configuring and maintaining application components including dimensions, currency translation, forms, reports, Smart View templates, and business rules.
• Assisting with configuring data integration, process automation and interfacing activities.
• Developing materials, document technical and functional processes, and providing training to end-users
• Ensure the EPM solutions adhere to IT and Infosec Security policies.
• Maintaining and continuously upgrading your knowledge of Oracle Cloud solutions.

What you’ll need

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Cloud EPM, experience working as a solution architect in a global organization, and proven financial analytical experience. Your expertise should cover the entire system implementation lifecycle including gathering business requirements, creating functional designs, application development, and administration. Minimum qualifications include:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management Information Systems
• 3 or more years of experience in implementing and optimizing Oracle Could EPM Planning 
• Experience in the following Oracle Cloud applications:
  • Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS)
  • Workforce Planning
  • Tax Reporting (TRCS)
• Development and configuration experience in the following Planning components:
  • Business Rules, Calc Scripts, and Calc Manager
  • Groovy scripting
  • Web Forms and Data Maps
  • Data Management, EPM Automate, and Linux Scripting
  • Financial Reporting Web Studio
• Strong knowledge of the financial processes, including experience with financial planning, close, consolidations, FP&A, financial and statistical reporting
• Deep understanding of FP&A processes including bottom-up planning, long range planning, scenario modeling, allocations, account reconciliations, currency translation, and top-side adjustments
• Demonstrated experience in comprehending complex business models and resolving application problems
• Ability to develop test data, test scripts and execute comprehensive testing
• Knowledge of industry best practices and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse global group and to work independently managing multiple deliverables
• Ability to think creatively and proficiency in problem-solving skills

Our Compensation Philosophy

Digital Realty offers its employees a highly competitive compensation package, excellent benefits, and an environment that recognizes and rewards your contributions. Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and geographical location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Moreover, an employee’s total compensation package varies by role and may include salary, cash bonus or commissions, and equity awards not quantified below.

Compensation range: $140,000 - $200,000 annually. This compensation range represents the Company’s good faith belief as to what it will pay as a base salary/hourly rate for this position at the time of this posting.
