Service Design Engineer (f/m/d)

Your Role

Joining us as a (Junior) Service Design Engineer, you will take a crucial role within the Service Design department, with your main responsibility being to bridge gaps between our service offering, sales and operations functions. You will support with pre-contract technical consulting, to match the customer expectations with our capacity and feasibility. You will act as the main interface between Sales and Operations departments. You will achieve success through understanding the technical possibilities and the customer needs to produce the best suitable service solution. At the same time, you will serve as a reliable source of information for all departments and contribute not only to customer satisfaction, but also to optimal use of our space and other DC capacities. 

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work 
• Experience in the data center sector or telecommunication
• Knowledge of Telecommunications Engineering, e.g. fiber optic cabling, splicing or data center / facility experience is a distinct advantage
• Project or Product management skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret operational data and identify areas for improvement
• Analytical and adaptive, with high level of customer focus and proactive, solution oriented thinking approach 
• Fluent in English and German
