Position Title: Data Center Operations Engineer

Location: Attica, Koropi

Digital Realty Hellas (DLR Hellas) is currently seeking for a Data Center Operations Engineer, responsible for supervision of Data Center Critical Infrastructure and interaction with customers supporting their critical equipment and services.

Your role

You will be part of our Data Center Operations experienced Team. Your main task is to supervise on 24x7 the electromechanical infrastructure of Athens Data Center Campus and support our customers in a professional and timely manner. 

What you’ll do

• Provide technical support and carry out operational technical interventions upon customer requests 
• Monitor the Critical Infrastructure of the Data Center Buildings
• Provide First Level support such as execution of Standard Procedures in case of an incident etc.
• Operate and manage both standard and emergency tasks on a variety of critical systems such as generators, UPS, power distribution & cooling equipment, building’s monitoring systems etc.

What you’ll need

• An electrician technical / university degree 
• At least 2 years of experience in critical facility operation or/and maintenance 
• Understanding of critical systems and infrastructure (electrical, mechanical, monitoring systems, etc.)
• Ability to handle incidents and ensure uninterrupted operation of Data Centers. 
• Be fluent in Greek and English (both verbal and written)
• Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
