Position Title: Engineering Technical Support Manager
Location: Brussels

Your role

The engineering and support manager is the technical expert withing the datacentres, he has knowledge on all the technical installations and is able to provide support to the whole operational staff. Because of his high technical knowledge the engineering and support manager is able to workout engineering request and turn them into feasible proposals ready for execution.

  • Providing support to the whole staff of the operations department on request or demand.
  • Supporting on technical solutions, way of working
  • Supporting in checking or even writing Methods of procedures (MOP’s) or emergency operating procedures (EOP’s)
  • Providing support to the site managers and project managers in critical executions of maintenance or changes. (switching in life environment)
  • Providing technical support to customer implementation manager on new deployments and customer buildouts.
  • Providing support to the MO on technical level and support on budgeting for improvements / replacements. 
  • Organizing workshops to the whole operational staff to increase the general or specific knowledge of individuals and/or multiple staff members. 
  • Providing support for several auditing systems during the year and on audit itself
  • Supporting the Quality Health and safety Manager. 
  • Performing technical risk analyses on the sites status and technical equipment and advise the OPS team on improvements needed.

What you’ll need

  • Educated to a degree (bachelor) level in a technical field
  • Minimum 5+ years experience as a technician 
  • Proficient in English (Dutch is a plus)
