Your role

Digital Realty is looking for an energetic leader to help accelerate Digital Realty sales and to maximize revenue opportunities by building innovative new paths to market. The Senior Manager, Partner Solutions will be a key member of the Global Solution Development and Enablement team, focused on the development of whole offers as well as the operational and technical enablement of those offers internally and externally.  

What you’ll do

The Senior Manager, Partner Solutions will be responsible for executing strategies to drive partner solutions growth and revenue within Digital Realty. You will be tasked with identifying, building, and managing relationships with key partners, onboarding partners, and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive successful go-to-market execution. The candidate will have the ability to working closely with Product Management, Solutions Architecture and Engineering, Channels and Alliances, Core Networks, and Business Segments teams to build profitable and accretive partnerships.

Additionally, the Senior Manager, Partner Solutions will be a critical thought leader in developing our global development and enablement strategy and contribute to the broader Solution Engineering and Architecture agenda

  • Develop and implement strategies for partner solutions growth and revenue within Digital Realty
  • Identify and build relationships with key partners, including technology vendors, channel partners, and solution providers.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful go-to-market execution of partner solutions.
  • Drive partner enablement programs to ensure partners are fully equipped to effectively sell and deliver solutions to customers.
  • Develop and maintain partner-related metrics to measure and report on partner program effectiveness.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure the company is well positioned to succeed.

This position supports all Digital Realty sales and partner organizations, therefore may require approximately 30% travel. The Senior Manager, Partner Solutions may also be required to travel to other markets or other locations where customers or partners are located to conduct and lead on-site meetings.

What you’ll need

  • 7+ years of technical experience in Data Center/Hosting/Cloud companies and/or Cloud/Networking/IT
  • 5+ years of solutions selling high-tech industry preferably in the network, cloud, and/or data center markets
  • 5+ years of experience in an organization with multiple routes to market with knowledge of both direct and indirect routes preferably in the network, cloud, and/or data center industries
  • Effective Solutions Sales Capabilities: Demonstrates advanced solution selling abilities and effective, pro-active customer communications including proposal development, delivery, and RFP responses.
  • Proven technical support for direct and indirect sales and marketing initiatives through participation in proposals, workshops, speaking engagements, blogs, and other technical writing.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field or 7+ years of experience developing solutions with partners. An advanced degree is preferred.
