Your role

As a Manager within our Global Portfolio Management team, you will be part of a high-visibility team responsible for all matters associated with the Portfolio Management Group (both asset management and commercial management).  This role supports the VP of Global Portfolio Management in the execution of global policy and process improvements, the creation and maintenance of key global reporting metrics, ad-hoc reporting for senior leadership, and multi-site commercial transaction analysis.

You will support collaboration with various teams across disciplines including operations, finance, legal, and sales. 

What you’ll do

The ideal candidate for this role will be a motivated and enthusiastic professional with related experience. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain and manage global reporting of key commercial metrics , including  capital deployment, concession quantification and new signings in existing properties.
  • Build policy and process databases related to revenue generation and contractual requirements.
  • Manage and conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • Effectively communicate in written and oral formats to a range of situations and audiences.
  • Identify information sources, gather and interpret data, and present findings to senior management.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with team members and foster a productive cross-functional teamwork environment.
  • Support implementation of underwriting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across all transactions.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including asset management, operations, finance, legal, and sales to insure proactive management of consistent and compliant underwriting.
  • Analyze market data, property financial statements, and other relevant information to determine the risk and profitability of each transaction.

Spearhead value-add projects with Vice President of Global PMG Operations to implement repeatable global reporting processes and procedures.

What you’ll need

This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to work with peers across different time zones, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders in different countries and regions.  Additionally, to be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate, property management or related industry (with a focus on data centers preferred).
  • A strong understanding of real estate finance, and ability to create financial reports and analyses with working knowledge of Yardi and Excel modeling.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple activities and priorities effectively.
  • The ability to effectively respond, verbally or in writing, to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using and creating reports in Oracle Analytics (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to manage projects to stay on track with deliverables in a high-pressure setting.
  • The drive to work in a fast-paced environment, operate with a strong sense of urgency, and turn in quality work quickly, under strict time constraints.
  • Team player mentality, strong learning acumen, and resourcefulness in situations with limited guidance.
