Service Design Manager

  Connexion house, London

Your Role

This is your chance to lead a department, set the scope of our Service Design function, and shape the future of the business. As Service Design Manager, you’ll oversee the pre-contract technical design, integration, and deployment of client services. At the same time, you’ll lead a team of engineers and technicians to ensure those services are implemented smoothly and effectively to meet customer needs. You’ll also support the sales process by guiding customers in the formulation of their requirements, while lending your specialist expertise to the sales team to ensure customer demands align with our capabilities. Whether it’s allocating projects, managing finances, developing and approving technical designs or supervising technical adjustments – you’ll have ultimate responsibility for the solution design process.

What You’ll Need

  • A third level degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Proven experience designing complex technical solutions in an electrical, mechanical, or building services environment.
  • Excellent people skills, with the ability to lead and organize a team as well as form strong working relationships.
  • Previous experience in cost control and supplier management.
  • Knowledge of relevant computer software including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Salesforce, OpsView, and Ekkosense.
  • A proactive and highly adaptable approach to solving problems, even when facing tight deadlines.
