Your role

The Colocation Billing Coordinator and Procurement specialist is responsible for ensuring accuracy of billing (including timely trigger of the invoices based on the commencement date) and invoicing deliveries pertaining to Colocation. The role will prepare, distribute, and record charges and work with COLO Customers to resolve all billing queries. Procurement, liaised with local vendors based on standard Colo products. Be the point of contact of both vendor and suppliers. 

What you’ll do

  • Prepare billing for Non-recurring Charges (NRC), Remote Hands, Cross Connect, and etc. This also includes the usage-based charges in Service Exchanges and IP Bandwidth services.
  • Evaluate orders, prepare Manual Billing Forms (MBF) and trigger YARDI set-up requests according to nature of transactions.
  • Coordinate with Remote Hands Team to ensure accuracy of information provided in BoM trackers and Sales Force.
  • Liaise with PMG Analysts and Accounting to ensure activation of Monthly Recurring Charges (MRC) and issuance of correct invoices.
  • Ensure invoices are delivered to customers and uploaded to third-party billing systems accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Generate and maintain AR analysis reports.
  • Participate in monthly Property-Accounting meetings and weekly Operations calls to provide AR status updates.
  • Respond and mitigate billing escalations (Asset Director and Sales Director).
  • Confirm and reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances due.
  • Maintain customer specific rate table for Cross Connect and Remote Hand services.
  • Support any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Manager, not limited to the duties/responsibilities as described above and which may be subject to changes as needed to support the business requirements.
  • Act as procurement specialist and will report to Procurement Manager.
  • Come up with a list of regular/trusted vendors/suppliers for both Internal and external projects.
  • Check project cost vs vendor/supplier cost and ensure it is within budget.

What you’ll need

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree or 3 to 5 years work experience or equivalent combination of knowledge, skill, or ability.
  • Experienced working in DC industry about 3-5 years would be preferred.
  • Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
  • Good written communication skills. Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills. Analytical thinking skills. Detail oriented. Ability to meet deadlines. Mathematical skills. Accounting skills.
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work with others and to perform a variety of assigned tasks.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp situations to make decisions to ensure problems are resolved and corrected.
  • Language Requirements: Bilingual (English/Korean) Required
  • Knowledge of SAP, Yardi, Oracle CPQ,, ServiceNow, and MS Office a plus
  • Prior roles/function customer facing a plus.
