Your role
This is an excellent chance to develop your generalist HR skills. You’ll play a key role in developing all our people, from identifying training needs, to creating development programmes for staff at all levels, including the leadership team. Working closely with managers, you’ll support annual appraisals and help to develop the training plan, based on skills evaluations and performance reviews. You’ll also liaise with external suppliers to organise training programmes, monitoring budgets, performance and feedback to ensure they meet our needs. At the same time, you’ll handle a range of admin tasks. This includes keeping agreements, procedures and local job descriptions up-to-date, drafting new contracts, informing staff of any changes and overseeing employee benefits, absences and payroll data. You’ll also help with onboarding, as the first point of contact for new starters.
