Position Title: Service Design, & Implementation Manager
Location: Brussels

Your role

The Service Design, Service transition and Service Delivery Manager oversees the design, integration, deployment and guides customers in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility and ROI assessments. The Service Design Manager is responsible for staff planning and adjust staff size and skill mix accordingly to achieve OLA’s and maintain financial objectives for the Service Design function. This person is accountable for providing an accurate costing for the proposed designs.

This person will lead and oversee the planning and effective execution of all standard and non-standard service transitions in accordance with contractual agreements and implementation timelines. It manages the Transition team and has the end responsibility for the deployment of project resources over implementation lifecycle. It also oversees resolutions of project implementation issues. Furthermore, this person is accountable for the end-to-end holistic delivery of the contractually agreed Operational Service for Key / Strategic (International) customers, managing the customer interface on all operational elements of the contract(s) across internal functions, processes and people.

The ultimate goal is to ensure delivery of excellent customer experience and SLA performance and to build stronger relationships, increasing each party’s understanding of the other and to continuously improve the customers’ operational experience.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor level (e.g. Degree in science, engineering or related discipline or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a customer service environment in a service company, preferably a utility, datacenter, IT or telecommunications company.
  • Management experience of 3-4 years
  • Experience with Service Management, preferably of more complex international customers
  • PM Certified
  • ITIL qualifications and experience are preferred.
  • Fluent in Dutch and Fluent in English (B2 level)
