Your role
Reporting directly to Service Implementation Manager, you’ll plan and manage all our Implementation activities to meet existing and future workload demands, identifying and arranging appropriate resources to be available by pro-actively planning work schedules such that all Implementation Projects are sufficiently staffed and prepared to enable optimal performance. This involves liaising with suppliers and service teams to assess the feasibility of design plans, as well as anticipating project needs, so all transitions run smoothly. Most importantly, you’ll plan and manage work schedules, adapting and updating them as projects change and working closely with Project Managers to resolve any conflicts. This role is 70% administrative and 30% technical.
What you’ll need
Experience working within the Data Centre industry with basic knowledge of DC products (cabling, cabinets, PDU's, some hardware understanding, and cooling basics) would be advantageous
2/3 years' experience in an administrative or technical role within the private/commercial sector
Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel)
Organised and efficient with a good level of attention to detail
Excellent communication sills
Can effectively manage various projects simultaneously
Ability to problem solve where required
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrates motivation and enthusiasm, has a ‘can do’ attitude, and is driven to succeed to the best of their ability
