Your role

The Senior Maintenance Engineer oversees, plans and coordinates all maintenance requests and manages all related processes and the Senior Maintenance Engineer is also responsible for the Maintenance Preventive Planning. The Senior Maintenance Engineer can act in first line support (gatekeeper, basic support, admin), second line support (non-recurring work, managing master data in Ultimo) and third line support (problem management, root cause analysis). Emphasis will be on third line support incorporation with continuity and commissioning Team. The Senior Maintenance Engineer supports the maintenance planning manager with long term asset management and supplier- and contract management.

Prepare, organize and plan all Maintenance Service requests, tasks and activities in an effective manner.
End to end job handling (open / close) within the agreed OLA’s and SLA’s, and provide
Reporting Responsible for supplier management within Service planning.
Responsible for annual maintenance plan in cooperation with Technical Operations.
Coordinate all required maintenance works by maintenance contractors, in line with the maintenance planning.
Provides regular updates to the Maintenance Planning Manager – manage KPI’s and SLA’s
Perform regular meetings with maintenance contractors.
Measure performance maintenance contractors.
Prioritizing maintenance requests with Technical Operations.
Deal with problems and manage resolution by involving necessary resources
Executing a proper L1, L2, and L3 support structure and liaise with Operational teams as; Service Design & Transition, Technical Operations, Service Delivery, continuity and commissioning Team and Service Security.

What you’ll need

Minimum HBO degree level in a technical field or local equivalent.
5-7 years’ experience as a technician and or Maintenance Engineer in an (electrical or industrial) critical environment (e.g. full continuous factory).
Analytical and conceptual thinker, who thinks about Maintenance on a strategic level.
Understanding the data center infrastructure and Topology
Experience of project planning/scheduling and reporting.
Experience in working with pre-defined Maintenance KPIs.
Experience in the data center sector or telecommunications.
Preferably experience in Asset Management.
ITIL Knowledge (incident and problem management) is preferred.
Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
