Your role
The position reports directly to the Head of the Planning Department. There may be positions that report to him/her in a hierarchical manner. The position is part of the Operations functional team, which provides support to site organizations. This position involves links with other departments within Interxion France and mainly with the Group Engineering entity. External contacts are with suppliers dedicated to infrastructure management. The responsibilities of this position are national. The position requires coordination with the Planning Department Manager and compliance with the maintenance and energy management policy implemented by the latter.
What you’ll need
Provides a binding assessment on Power, Cooling & Square Meter availability at the Budgetary quote phase.
Provides a technical Service design for a new opportunity, amendment and / or COF and ensures that overall customer requirements and implementation lead times can be met.
Leads and oversees the Service Design process. Plans and coordinates required resources and capabilities, and acts as key interface with Capacity Management, Facility Management, Security, DTEG, Product and to ensure solution implementation lead times and resources are achievable, and design meets current and future business requirements.
Ensures that corporate design principles with respect to standardization, power, cooling and place are followed and reflected in the designs.
Defines costs and/or suitable alternatives and their associated risks. Approves service solution technical design and associated recommendations.
