Sr Manager, Content Strategy

Position Title:  Sr. Manager, Content Strategy

Location: Remote

Your role

Reporting to the Director of Global Content & Campaign Strategy

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced B2B Content Strategist to help build a strategic, integrated content marketing program with industry-relevant and data-driven stories at the forefront. This individual will centralize content development across the organization, and produce, write, and edit content that supports all stages of the marketing funnel to drive brand awareness, generate demand, and influence revenue.

What you’ll do

    • Shape unique and engaging insights-led narratives that align to Digital Realty corporate, brand and product messages
    • Build all forms of content, ranging from whitepapers, eBooks, blogs and case studies to presentations, collateral, infographics, videos and webinars that reflect Digital Realty’s differentiated brand voice as an industry leader
    • Build and deliver an integrated content calendar based on an understanding of how content maps to the buyer’s journey
  • Develop a deep understanding of Digital Realty customer segments and their user journeys, identifying key problems and ways our content can better serve their needs
  • Source, showcase and spotlight Digital Realty’s core use cases through compelling storytelling
    • Conduct online and primary research with in-house and external subject matter experts to understand key market trends, challenges, and opportunities to support Digital Realty’s insights-led content development
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across global functions including brand, corporate communications, creative, web, demand generation, field marketing, product marketing, partner marketing and events teams to develop outstanding content, experimenting with different production methods to continuously improve results
    • Measure & analyze content effectiveness for each content channel

What you’ll need

    • 10+ years of related content marketing experience in a fast-paced, high-growth B2B environment, (SaaS/Tech). Experience in developing content for B2B global platform environment preferred.  
  • Skilled at crafting both long-form content and real-time (immediate) content, along with distribution strategies and tactics
    • Analytic rigor with the ability to breakdown complex concepts into compelling, customer-focused storylines
  • Has the technical depth to truly understand the value props, gaps, differentiators, or ask the right questions to discover them
    • Superior internal communications and project management skills as well as exceptional attention to quality and detail
    • Strategic mindset who thinks out-of-the-box for ways to continually differentiate and stay ahead of market trends
    • A self-starter with the passion and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and under tight deadlines
  • A strong portfolio of content projects you’ve led, with demonstrable customer and business impact. Experience with both written and visual formats (such as executive keynote presentations and video production) is preferred
  • A savvy and proactive global collaboration partner: you know how to help cross-functional teams work smarter, not harder, and continuously iterate and innovate on existing systems and workflows
