Pricing Manager

Position Title: Pricing Manager

Location: Remote

 

Your Role

The Pricing Manager will be part of the colocation business within Digital Realty and will be responsible for working with Sales on commercial solutions. Reporting to the Director, Offer Management, the Pricing Manager is a sales support position that will require strong analytical skills and ability to work well with a variety of functions and levels within the organization.  

 

What you’ll do

  • Offer Development
    • Manage pre-sales pricing process including pricing tool and system support. Will also be responsible for pricing escalations and approval process.
    • Work closely with finance team to understand profitability of pricing models and deal terms.
    • Support colocation Sales Managers on developing customer proposals.
  • Complex Solution Development
    • Working closely with sales, sales management, product, and solution architects, this position will be responsible for developing and driving complex and non-standard solutions with strategic customers.
    • Interacting often with senior level customers, the solution development may involve pricing models and negotiation of complex commercial terms.

 

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years data center, telecommunications, and/or IT industry experience preferably in the areas of Commercial Management, Finance, Business Development, and Product Management.
  • Working knowledge of data communications, cloud, and Enterprise IT.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills including ability to conduct presentations to variety of levels both internal and external to the company
  • Ability to interact with cross-functional peers as well as senior management.
  • Experience working for international company a plus.
  • Excellent skills with Salesforce.com, analytical tools (Excel, Tableau, others), and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor degree in business or technical field with MBA preferred
