The Vice President of Marketing, EMEA has overall accountability for building and executing a go to market strategy to accelerate Digital Realty’s performance in the EMEA Region. As a key member of the Global Marketing and EMEA leadership teams, the role is accountable for all activities related to Marketing strategy execution for Digital Realty in this region. They will work closely with the global marketing teams to ensure programs and activities delivered are relevant and useable by the region, feeding in at conception to ensure the requirements of this culturally diverse region are understood and accommodated.
Key success criteria in this role includes the ability to develop strategic plans in a collaborative and integrated way, respecting and building on global plans and guidelines to synthesize business objectives into strategic Marketing plans which lead to increased brand awareness, stimulating increased demand and opportunities for sales and long-term business success. The incumbent must be able to translate Marketing trends and commercial insights to strong brand awareness and demand generation strategies. Functional knowledge, operational understanding, strategic thinking, and communication are critical skills for success in this role; the roles’ objectives can only be met through very strong people leadership and relationship management with business and other internal partners, across multiple time-zones and geographies.
