Senior Marketing Manager

Your role

The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for implementing and delivering the company’s global brand and communications marketing strategy, making it relevant to support global, regional and local campaigns. They will lead in developing an integrated, proactive and strategic approach to social media and brand content creation to positively increase brand awareness of Digital Realty across its target markets, contributing to the global awareness programmes and indirectly supporting demand generation programmes being rolled out. They will be responsible for developing and leading the strategic and tactical execution of global social media plan, working with internal stakeholders, external agencies and collaborating with field marketing teams. They will also be an essential link of the Brand and Communications team for marketing colleagues in the other regions and across our Joint Ventures (JVs), in addition to providing regular support to the Director, Global Brand Strategy and Communications.

What you’ll need

  • Ability to be proactive and independently create and implement integrated brand activities, including the integration of digital and social programmes, and execute seamlessly across multiple projects with success
  • Ability to deliver campaigns that complement the complete marketing mix
  • Develop social media strategy and communications plans to support a range of activities
  • Think creatively to develop and execute marketing campaigns, focusing on digital social channels 
  • Developing toolkits for social media to support the global marketing team, create and maintain templates – working with external agencies where necessary
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and drive
  • Excel at cross-group collaboration, creative thinking, problem solving and have a bias for action
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business
  • Analytical and results driven – an ability to look ahead and understand changing market dynamics
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
