Carrier Network Director

Position Title: Carrier Network Director

Location: Hong Kong

Your role

You will Identify, promote and engage all the key Cable Consortium & Network Operators across the region & world, building a pipeline of qualified Cable Consortia and Network Operators for meeting and engagement.

What you’ll do

  • Develop Digital Realty APAC networking strategy and positioning documents, associated collateral/content – Customer PowerPoint, Brochureware, Article Content, Graphics etc.
  • Confirmed strategy in writing with next steps for implementation and manage all related vendor support contracts for hardware, software, connectivity, and pricing.
  • Provide up-to-date system and network documentation and inventories to build an overall Singapore Connected Campus networks strategy that outlines options for connecting Singapore to Digital APAC properties across the region and eventually the world.
  • Provide technical leadership to all new acquisition and new Data Center build to identify/produce documentation on interconnection product gaps, network topology, problem resolution, delivery timeline, and costs (resources, equipment, software, etc) of deployment of solution.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree preferred, or a combination of education, training, and work experience
  • Proven experience with network and infrastructure technologies
  • Subject Matter Expert in implementation of network design strategy, network management, project management, technology research, and applicable documentation.
  • A high level of commitment to customer service, whether interacting with co-workers or clients.
