Your role

The Sales Director will help shape our local sales organization and scale revenue to the next level and will be responsible for architecting a sales strategy and developing our team of salespeople across enterprise and mid-market sales.

As Sales Director you will have authority for the development and execution of an appropriate local new business, account acquisition strategy and approach through structured marketing campaigns and direct sales.

You will be responsible for selling into new markets, strategizing next steps, negotiating complex deals, and beating the competition in head-to-head opportunities.

The role operates autonomously, closely collaborating with local Management, Sales, Marketing and Operations teams

As Sales Director you will have full management authority of the local sales team and will be responsible for leading, coaching and driving the performance and results of the account management, sales, and sales support professionals in the team.

What you’ll need

Demonstrable understanding of direct sales and the Data Center industry

Keen understanding of value of LinkedIn and other social media platforms for engaging with prospective customers

Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them

Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.

Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and network with companies in the colocation and enterprise industry

Strong leadership and team building skills

Excellent solution/consultative selling skills, proven ability to articulate clear value propositions

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Customer/business focus

-Eager to win and create new business and achieve high customer engagement

-Multi-level seller and relationship builder

Educated to Bachelor/Master level

Extensive experience in a consultative selling area, preferable in IT Services/data centre/telco/network environment
