Your role
As part of the EMEA Portfolio Management Group this role will provide assistance in strategic direction and financial analysis a multi-country regional Data Center (Asset) portfolio. The role will focus on strategies associated with the development of sales, revenue growth, capital deployment, and expansion within responsible markets. The candidate fulfilling this role must be highly focused on two primary areas of oversight:
In supporting regional P&L management, the role is responsible for driving growth by working with internal and external teams on leasing and re-development. The role will also assist in driving of external growth by actively participating in the acquisition process working with the local country leadership team, country Managing Directors, and the regional Acquisitions/Investments team. The Sr. Asset Manager will be accountable for accurate reporting and forecasting with respect to the assigned region or portfolio.
This Asset/Portfolio Management role offers you the opportunity to expand your skills and experience in multiple areas, including client management, capital investment analysis and forecasting accountability in collaboration with the Finance Team, within the thriving Data Center industry. You will be required to engage with customers at multiple properties on topics from new leases to renewals and you will provide analytical insights to support business decisions at the properties. Working in conjunction with internal stakeholders throughout the organization, you will be actively involved in many renewals of existing agreements and expanding the business negotiating new customer agreements working with Sales, Country, Segment and Legal teams. The role will also be involved working with internal teams on the master planning and construction of new and existing data centres along with the financial recommendations associated with such projects. What you’ll need
- Comprehending, analysing, and interpreting financial statements, budgets and financial forecast models
- Analysing the financial impact of capital allocation decisions and thinking creatively in regard to maximizing returns
- Working with internal Segment and Market Strategy teams to analyse, interpret and summarize market information such as historic supply and demand trends, competitor information, market comparables, and projected trends
